When the weather is hot, I love cooling off with a frozen treat! It can be challenging to find a low FODMAP option in stores, but luckily it’s easy to make these popsicles at home! For this low FODMAP Strawberry Raspberry Yogurt Popsicle recipe, you don’t need to use a blender so clean up is easy!

For this recipe you only need four ingredients: Raspberries, Strawberries, Lactose-Free Yogurt and Maple Syrup. The fruit can be fresh or frozen! Unlike most store-bought popsicles, these are actually very nutritious and contain protein and fibre!

It’s okay if you don’t have any plastic popsicle molds! Instead, I use small paper cups and popsicle sticks or coffee stirring sticks. I fill up the paper cups about 3/4 full and then cover with tin foil or saran wrap. Then I cut the popsicle sticks in half and then stick them into the middle of the cup. I find it works really well! I also use this method to make my Strawberry Lemon Chia Popsicles.

  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries

Instructions

  • Wash the berries. Remove the leaves from the strawberries. Dice the berries into small pieces.
  • Mash the berries in a bowl using a fork with the maple syrup. Stir in the yogurt.
  • Divide evenly between each popsicle mold. If using paper cups, cover each paper cup with tin foil or plastic wrap. Cut the popsicle or stir sticks in half. Poke the sticks through the centre of the tin foil/plastic wrap. Freeze for at least 2 hours until solid. Enjoy!
